A car you drive to work every day for a year is a different proposition from one you take out for a weekend. It gets more miles, more heat and more salt air, and the cover you carry matters more. GU Rent-A-Car is built around that: the servicing, the insurance and the monthly rate all assume you are going to use the car properly. Everyone in uniform, DoD civilians, and the spouses and dependants who end up doing most of the driving are welcome.

What the rate already carries, and what you can add
Liability, unlimited mileage and hotel pick-up
Bodily injury is covered to $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident, property damage to $50,000. There is no mileage cap, so a daily commute across the island costs you nothing extra. Pick-up from Tumon hotels is free.
CDW — Collision Damage Waiver, covering car-to-car collision up to $50,000
with a $1,000 deductible.
ZDW — Zero Deductible Waiver, which removes that $1,000 deductible.
NOC — Non Operation Charge Waiver, which exempts you from the business-loss
charge after an accident ($250 if the car can still be rented, $400 if it cannot).
Every car goes through scheduled servicing plus a check and clean before it is handed over. That matters more on a long rental than a short one — you are the person who finds out if a car has been neglected.
The 30-day rate above is the one to look at if you are on PCS orders, on TDY, or waiting on a POV at the port. Keep the same car a month at a time, for as long as you need it.
Ask us early to keep it longer. We will extend it if that car is still free.
Licensed drivers from 18 can rent, and there is no young driver surcharge at any age. Most counters on the island set the bar at 21 or 25 and add a daily fee below that, so this is worth checking if a junior member of your household is going to be driving.

Bring your license, a credit card in the driver's name and your passport or ID. A license from your own country is enough — an international permit is not required.
