Under Guam law, visitors can drive on a valid license from certain countries for up to 30 days after they arrive. Those countries are Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the EU member states, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands. A license from a U.S. state or territory is valid for 90 days. If you hold one of these, you don't need an International Driving Permit.
If your license comes from a country that isn't on the list, please contact us before you book. Planning to drive longer than 30 or 90 days? You can extend that period for up to one year by registering your license with the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation. Active-duty service members and their dependents with a valid U.S. state license don't need a Guam license.
Please bring your original license. We can't accept a photo or a photocopy at pickup.
